Does it contain petrolatum, like Vaseline?
No — there's no petrolatum in Aquaphor Lip Repair. It's built on octyldodecanol, castor seed oil, glycerin, shea butter and beeswax, with panthenol (provitamin B5), vitamins C and E and bisabolol from chamomile.
How often can I apply it?
As often as you need, per the pack. A thicker layer before bed is a common way to use it, since nothing gets licked or eaten off overnight.
Is it OK for sensitive lips?
Aquaphor describes it as suitable for sensitive lips: it's fragrance-free, paraben-free and contains no preservatives or dyes. Stop using it if irritation develops.
Is it vegan?
No — Lip Repair contains beeswax, so it isn't suitable for vegans.
Does Lip Repair have SPF?
No, there's no sunscreen in the ingredients. Use a lip product with SPF as well when you're out in strong sun, wind or snow.
