Each watermelon gummy gives 84 mg of magnesium as magnesium citrate. The tub holds 120 gummies, so it lasts 120 days at one a day.
How many gummies can my child have?
Follow the age table on the side of the Ultra Lyte Kids tub: it sets the daily number of gummies by age and says which ages it isn't suitable for. Never go over the stated amount, and make sure each gummy is chewed properly.
What does magnesium do for children?
Magnesium is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. It also contributes to normal muscle function and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Do the gummies contain sugar?
Yes — 1 g of added sugar per gummy from organic cane sugar and tapioca syrup, at 10 calories each. Giving one with a meal rather than after teeth are brushed is kinder to teeth.
Are Ultra Lyte Kids gummies vegan and allergen-free?
Yes — they're certified vegan and gelatine-free, set with agar and coloured with organic black carrot. The label says gluten-free and lists no known allergens.
Can magnesium upset my child's tummy?
Too much magnesium can loosen stools, so stick to the label amount and cut back if it happens. Store the tub out of children's reach, as the gummies look and taste like sweets.
