How much vitamin K2 is in a dose?
Six drops give 90µg of vitamin K as menaquinone-7 (MK-7) sourced from natto, which is 120% of the UK reference intake. Six drops is the whole daily dose, so there's nothing else to measure.
How long does the 30ml bottle last?
About five months: the label counts 150 six-drop servings, so one bottle of Ultra Lyte K2MK7 covers 150 days at one dose a day.
How do I take the drops?
Shake the bottle, then take six drops a day, preferably with food; you can also stir them into water or another cool drink. Vitamin K is fat-soluble, which is why it comes dissolved in olive oil.
What does vitamin K2 contribute?
Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal blood clotting. Ultra Lyte K2MK7 gives you that on its own, with no vitamin D or other vitamins added.
I take warfarin. Can I use it?
Speak to your GP or anticoagulation clinic before you start. Vitamin K plays a part in blood clotting, so a daily K2 supplement can change how warfarin and other vitamin K antagonists work.
What's in it, and is it allergen-free?
Just three ingredients: olive oil, rosemary extract (an antioxidant) and menaquinone-7 from natto. The label states no known allergens; there's no vegan logo on the bottle, although none of the ingredients is animal-derived.
K2MK7 or the Ultra Lyte D3 4000IU + K2 drops?
Choose K2MK7 if your vitamin D is already covered by sunshine or a separate supplement. Ultra Lyte Vitamin D3 4000IU + K2 30ml, which we also stock, gives 100µg D3 and 100µg K2 in five drops, so take one or the other rather than both.
