What's in each sachet?
Each 5 ml sachet of liquid concentrate gives 100 mg magnesium, 245 mg sodium, 295 mg potassium and 825 mg chloride, with zero calories. It's unflavoured and unsweetened: just minerals.
How much water do I mix one sachet into?
The box gives three strengths: 250 ml for a strong taste, 500 ml for mild and 1 litre for light. Squeeze the sachet into your bottle and shake.
Why does it taste salty?
Ultra Lyte Hydration Packets are a concentrated mineral liquid, so the taste is distinctive on its own. The box suggests adding lemon juice, mixing it into a flavoured drink or using more water.
What do the electrolytes do?
Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance, normal muscle function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and each sachet gives 27% of the reference intake. The sodium and potassium top up the salts you lose in sweat.
Is it keto-friendly?
Yes. The box is marked keto friendly and zero calories, so a sachet adds no sugar or carbs to a low-carb day.
