Your questions, answered
When should I take the Orange gel?
Before and during exercise, up to three 40 g gels a day. Many runners and cyclists take one shortly before the start and the rest at regular intervals, each washed down with water.
Is it sweetened with artificial sweeteners?
No. The ingredient list for the Orange gel has no sweeteners: the sweetness comes from dextrose and fructose, plus apple, orange, blackcurrant and strawberry juice concentrates, with beta-carotene for colour.
Can I use it for evening training?
Yes. Trec Energy Gel Orange is caffeine-free, so it won't affect your sleep, and you can pair it with a caffeinated drink earlier in the session if you want one.
What else is in it besides carbohydrate?
MCT oil, beta-alanine, citrulline malate, L-carnitine and L-arginine, plus magnesium (as gluconate and citrate) and vitamin B6. The base is water, so the gel is runny and easy to swallow.
Is it the same gel as Forest Fruit?
Yes, the Orange and Forest Fruit sachets carry the same Endurance Energy Gel formula; only the flavour differs. We also stock a Multivitamin flavour.
Any warnings?
It isn't intended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women, and it may contain traces of milk, soya, cereals containing gluten, egg, peanuts and nuts. Once opened, take the sachet straight away.

Weekend orders
