What's in AAKG Mega Hardcore?
Each 4-capsule serving gives 1,680mg AAKG (1,090mg L-arginine) and 1,120mg citrulline malate (630mg L-citrulline). At the full daily dose of 8 capsules that doubles to 3,360mg AAKG and 2,240mg citrulline malate.
How and when do I take it?
Four capsules twice a day with about 300ml of water. On training days take the first serving 30 minutes before training and the second straight after; on rest days, 30 minutes before your first meal and again before bed.
How long does a tub last?
At 8 capsules a day, the 120-capsule tub lasts 15 days and the 240-capsule tub 30 days. Pick the larger tub of AAKG Mega Hardcore if you train most weeks.
Does it contain caffeine?
No — the formula is AAKG and citrulline malate in a capsule, with no stimulants, so the evening and pre-bed servings won't keep you awake. Arginine and citrulline have no authorised health claims in the UK, so we describe the formula rather than promise a pump.
Is it vegetarian?
No — the capsules are gelatine, coloured with titanium dioxide, with magnesium salts of fatty acids as an anti-caking agent. If you'd rather avoid capsules, Trec Nutrition AAKG Powder 240g Jar, which we also stock, is AAKG in powder form.
Who shouldn't take it?
Trec says not to use it during pregnancy, in children, or for long periods without consulting a doctor. Don't go over the 8-capsule daily dose, and check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take regular medication.
