What's in a daily serving of Collagen 4 Runners?
Four capsules give 2,400mg of SOLUGEL type I collagen hydrolysate, 100mg of hyaluronic acid and 80mg of vitamin C, which is 100% of the reference intake. Each capsule weighs 785mg.
How do I take it, and how long does the tub last?
Two capsules twice a day after meals, each time with about 300ml of water. At four a day, the 90 capsules last 22 days, just over three weeks.
What does the vitamin C do?
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage, bones and skin, and that's the authorised claim behind Collagen 4 Runners. Collagen and hyaluronic acid have no authorised health claims in the UK, so we give their amounts rather than promises.
Is it suitable for vegetarians?
No. The capsule shell is plant-based hypromellose, but collagen hydrolysate is an animal protein, and the label doesn't name the source animal.
Who shouldn't take it?
The label says it isn't for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women. It may contain traces of milk, soy, gluten, eggs, peanuts and nuts.
Capsules or one of Trec's collagen powders?
