What's in two Trace Immunity Gummies?
Vitamin C 165 mg (from ascorbic acid and acerola), vitamin D 6 µg as D3 (cholecalciferol), zinc 7 mg as zinc citrate and 20 mg acerola cherry fruit juice extract. That's about 206% of the UK reference intake for vitamin C, 120% for vitamin D and 70% for zinc.
What do these nutrients do?
Vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc all contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
How many do I take, and how long does the tub last?
Two gummies a day with food or at mealtime, so the 60 gummies last 30 days.
Can children take Trace Immunity Gummies?
Yes, from age 4: the label gives the same two-gummy serving for adults and children aged 4 and up, and says to ask a healthcare provider before giving them to under-4s. Keep the tub out of reach, as they look like sweets.
Is there elderberry in these gummies?
No. The gummies use acerola cherry, not elderberry. Elderberry is in Trace's liquid Immunity formula, which is a different product.
Any allergens or sweeteners to know about?
The label states the gummies contain tree nuts (coconut); they're free from wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, soy, yeast, gelatine and peanuts. They're sweetened with maltitol syrup and isomalt, which can have a laxative effect in large amounts.
