What's in Skin Eternal Serum?
It's a water-based serum with C-ester (ascorbyl palmitate), DMAE, alpha-lipoic acid and glycolic acid, plus aloe vera, coenzyme Q10, vitamins A, D3 and E, calcium pantothenate, biotin and chamomile. It's paraben-free and lightly scented with lavender and lemon oils.
How do I use it?
Shake well, then once or twice a day put 1 to 4 drops on your finger and gently massage into your face, neck, hands or any other area. A few drops cover the whole face, so the 50ml bottle goes a long way.
What will it do for my skin?
Source Naturals says Skin Eternal Serum absorbs easily and makes skin feel softer and replenished straight away. It's a cosmetic moisturising serum, so it isn't meant to treat skin conditions.
Does it contain allergens?
Yes, the label says it contains soy, and it includes lavender oil, lemon oil and chamomile extract, which can bother reactive skin. Patch-test on a small area for a day or two before using it on your face.
Can I use it around my eyes?
No. Keep it out of your eyes; if it gets in, flush with water and see a doctor if needed. It's for external use only, and you should stop using it if redness or irritation develops.
Do I need sunscreen with it?
It's sensible. The serum contains glycolic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid, and lemon oil, both of which can make skin more sensitive to the sun, so wear SPF during the day.

The serum is the light, water-based layer; Source Naturals Skin Eternal Cream 4oz, which we also stock, is the rich night cream. If you use both, apply the serum first and the cream on top.
