Three tablets give 42 mg of soy isoflavones (from a non-GMO SoyLife soy complex), 160 mg black cohosh root extract, 150 mg dong quai root extract, 150 mg liquorice root extract and 100 mg chaste tree berry extract, plus about 100 mg calcium.
How many tablets a day, and how long does the bottle last?
Three tablets daily, so 45 tablets of Source Naturals Hot Flash last 15 days. The label suggests using it for at least 4 weeks for best results, which takes two bottles of this size.
Who is it intended for?
Women at menopause; the label says it isn't for women of childbearing age. These herbs have no authorised health claims in the UK, so we describe the formula rather than promise that Hot Flash will reduce hot flushes.
Can I take it if I could become pregnant?
No. The label says do not use it if you're pregnant, may become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
