How to use it
For infants 6 months - 1 yr: 1/4 teaspoon daily. For children 1-4 yrs: 1/2 - 1 teaspoon daily. For children 5-12 yrs: 1 - 2 teaspoons daily. Shake well before use. Can be mixed with your child's favorite drink.

How much vitamin C is in a teaspoon?
250mg of vitamin C per 5ml teaspoon, so a quarter-teaspoon (1.25ml) for a baby gives about 63mg. Use a proper measuring spoon rather than a kitchen teaspoon.
How much should I give my child?
Per our listing's label: babies 6 months to 1 year, 1/4 teaspoon a day; children 1–4, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon; children 5–12, 1 to 2 teaspoons. Shake the bottle well first, and newer bottles may show slightly different age bands, so follow the one on yours.
How long does one bottle last?
The 118.5ml bottle gives about 94 quarter-teaspoon doses for a baby, about 23 days at 1 teaspoon a day, or 11–12 days at 2 teaspoons.
What does vitamin C do?
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. ChildLife Liquid Vitamin C is a way to give it to children who won't take tablets or chewables.
Does it contain sugar or common allergens?
It's sweetened with fructose, about 2g of sugar per teaspoon on the current US label, and uses natural orange flavour. It contains no milk, eggs, soy, wheat, yeast or corn, and no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners.
Can I mix it into a drink?
Yes — the label says it can be mixed into your child's favourite drink. Many children also take the orange liquid straight from the spoon.
Can I give it alongside other ChildLife vitamins?
Yes, but check for overlap: ChildLife Multi Vitamin & Mineral also contains vitamin C, while ChildLife Vitamin D3 Natural Berry doesn't. Add up the vitamin C if you use more than one, and ask your pharmacist if you're unsure.
