Recovery

Recovery is our hub for products athletes use between sessions. Its Recovery Support section holds the Trec Endurance capsules (Magne-100 Sport magnesium, Glucosamine Sport Complex and Collagen 4 Runners). This page also points you to protein, creatine, electrolytes and amino acids elsewhere in Sports Nutrition.

Build a between-sessions routine

“Recovery” is a shopping label rather than a single product. Food, fluids and sleep do most of the work, and supplements fill specific gaps. Here is where to find each piece:

  • Recovery Support: the Trec Endurance capsule line. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, to electrolyte balance and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Protein & Weight Gain: whey, isolate, casein and vegan shakes. Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass and to the maintenance of muscle mass.
  • Hydration & Endurance: electrolyte and carbohydrate drinks. Carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions contribute to the maintenance of endurance performance during prolonged endurance exercise and enhance the absorption of water during physical exercise.
  • Creatine: creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise, with the effect seen at 3 g a day.
  • Amino Acids: BCAA, EAA and glutamine powders.

Joints and connective tissue

Glucosamine and collagen are popular with runners and lifters, but neither has an authorised health claim. We sell them as ingredients and do not promise effects. For a wider choice of joint formulas, see Joint Support. To buy protein and creatine together for less, look at Recovery & Creatine Bundles.

If you are unsure where to start, protein and fluids cover the basics for most people. Add magnesium or electrolytes when long, sweaty sessions become a regular part of your week.

Recovery: your questions answered

What should I have after training?

Start with food and fluids: a meal or shake containing protein, plus water. Supplements are useful when your diet leaves a specific gap, such as protein or magnesium.

What is the difference between Recovery and Recovery Support?

Recovery is the hub page, and Recovery Support is where the Trec Endurance capsules are listed. Protein, creatine and electrolytes have their own sections, linked from this page.

Do I need electrolytes after every workout?

Usually not. Water is fine for most short gym sessions; electrolyte and carbohydrate drinks earn their place in long or very sweaty sessions.

Is there a bundle for recovery products?

Yes. Recovery & Creatine Bundles combine products such as protein and creatine at a bundle price.
