Your questions, answered
How much magnesium is in Magne-100 Sport?
Two capsules give 375mg magnesium and 1.4mg vitamin B6, each 100% of the UK reference intake, which is where the 100 in the name comes from. Each capsule carries half: 187.5mg magnesium and 0.7mg B6.
Which forms of magnesium does it use?
Four: magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate, magnesium lactate and magnesium carbonate. Together they make up 81% of each 720mg capsule.
How should I take it?
One capsule twice a day, preferably with meals, such as breakfast and your evening meal. That makes the 60-capsule tub a 30-day supply.
What do magnesium and vitamin B6 do?
Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance, normal muscle function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and also to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Can I use it alongside an electrolyte drink?
Yes, but add up your magnesium: Magne-100 Sport already gives the full 375mg reference intake, so check how much your drink or other supplements add. Don't exceed the 2-capsule daily portion.
Does it contain gelatine or allergens?
No gelatine — the capsule shell is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Trec warns it may contain milk, soy, cereals containing gluten, fish and peanuts from the production site, so check if you have an allergy.
Magne-100 Sport or Triple Magnesium Complex?
Magne-100 Sport is Trec's Endurance-line option, combining magnesium with B6 at 375mg in two capsules. We also stock Trec Nutrition Triple Magnesium Complex 120 Caps and Magnesium Bisglycinate 90 Caps if you prefer a different form; check their labels for amounts.
