I'm replacing the sugar bowl entirely - is a resealable pack of stevia the practical way?
That is the idea: a resealable pack of SweetLeaf's stevia sweetener that lives where the sugar bowl did, ready for tea, coffee, cereal or fruit. Zero sugar and zero calories, and because stevia is far sweeter than sugar a little goes a long way.
I've tried stevia before and hated the aftertaste - why would this be different?
A bitter, liquorice-like aftertaste is the classic stevia complaint, and it usually comes from adding too much rather than from the leaf itself. Sweet Drops are deliberately concentrated: add a few drops, stir and taste before adding more. Most people find their sweet spot within a drink or two.
How much do I use compared with a spoon of sugar?
Much less - stevia is many times sweeter than sugar, so start with a small pinch or part-spoon and build to taste. The pack carries usage guidance, and after a few cups you will know your number without thinking.
I'm cutting sugar hard - keto on weekdays, watching everything - does this actually fit?
It adds sweetness without sugar or calories - the label lists zero of both - which is why it is a staple in keto and low-carb kitchens. If you are managing diabetes it will not add sugar to your food or drink, but keep your GP or diabetes nurse in the loop on your overall diet rather than leaning on any one product.
