How many do I take, and how long does the tub last?
Four capsules a day, so the 120-capsule tub of Snap Spirulina & Chlorella lasts 30 days. Use it within 90 days of opening and store it away from heat and humidity, not in the fridge.
It contains wheatgrass and barley grass. Is it gluten-free?
Yes, it's labelled gluten-free. The cereal grasses are used as young leaves, not grain, and Snap also lists it as free of the nine major allergens.
What does 'cracked cell' chlorella mean?
Chlorella has a tough outer cell wall, and 'cracked cell' means that wall has been broken during processing. It's the form most chlorella supplements use.
Will it alkalise or detox my body?
Spirulina and chlorella have no authorised health claims in the UK, and 'Alkalizing Greens Complex' is the product's name, not a promise; your body regulates its own pH. What you get is 2.3 g of organic greens a day without the taste of a powder.
