How to use it
Adults, as a food supplement, take four capsules 45 minutes prior to exercise, competition, or for occasional energy support, preferably on an empty stomach. Do not exceed six capsules in any 24-hour period.

What's in a serving of Shroom Tech Sport?
Four capsules give 1.2 g of cordyceps (whole mushroom plus extract), 930 mg of a blend of ashwagandha, green tea leaf, rhodiola and astragalus extracts, 750 mcg vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin and 200 mcg chromium as chromium picolinate. The capsules are vegetarian (HPMC).
How many servings are in the 28-capsule bottle?
Seven. The serving is four capsules, so this bottle of Shroom Tech Sport covers seven training sessions, or fewer if you sometimes go up to the daily maximum of six capsules.
When should I take it?
Four capsules about 45 minutes before exercise or competition, preferably on an empty stomach. Don't take more than six capsules in any 24 hours.
Does it contain caffeine?
There's no added caffeine, but the adaptogen blend includes green tea leaf extract, which naturally contains some. Onnit doesn't state an amount, so allow for it if you're very sensitive to caffeine or take it late in the day.
What can Shroom Tech Sport actually claim to do?
Its vitamin B12 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy-yielding metabolism, and its chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Cordyceps, ashwagandha, rhodiola and astragalus have no authorised health claims, so we only give their doses.
Who should check with a doctor first?
The label asks you to speak to a doctor first if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have or suspect a medical condition, or take any medication. Mention the ashwagandha and rhodiola by name, as those are the herbs a pharmacist will want to know about.
Shroom Tech Sport or Alpha Brain?
They're separate formulas with different ingredients. Shroom Tech Sport is Onnit's cordyceps capsule taken before training; Onnit Alpha Brain, which we also stock, is a daily capsule with a different ingredient list and no cordyceps.
