How to use it
Adults & Children ages 6-12: 4 tablets. Children ages 1-6: 2 tablets. Dissolve under tongue 3 times a day. Use more frequently (every 15 minutes for up to 8 doses) with acute conditions.

What is Ferrum Phos 30X labelled for?
Hyland's #4 Ferrum Phos. 30X is a homeopathic cell salt whose label lists fevers, inflammation and colds, including congestion and head colds. It's a traditional homeopathic remedy rather than a conventional medicine.
How many tablets do I take?
Adults and children aged 6 to 12 take four tablets; children aged 1 to 6 take two. Dissolve them under the tongue three times a day; for acute symptoms the label allows a dose every 15 minutes for up to 8 doses.
How long will 500 tablets last?
About 41 days for an adult on four tablets three times a day, or about 83 days for a child under six on two tablets three times a day.
When should I stop and get advice?
Speak to a GP or pharmacist if symptoms last more than 7 days or get worse, and stop using Ferrum Phos if the symptoms come with a high fever (over 101°F, about 38.3°C). Don't use the bottle if the imprinted cap band is broken or missing.
Is Ferrum Phos an iron supplement?
No. Despite 'ferrum' (iron) in the name, a 30X homeopathic dilution contains no meaningful amount of iron, so it won't raise iron levels. If you think you're low in iron, ask your GP about a blood test.
How is it different from Hyland's Bioplasma?
Ferrum Phos is the single cell salt No. 4 on its own. Hyland's Bioplasma, which we also stock, combines all 12 cell salts in one tablet.
