How do I use the tube?
Apply generously to external and/or internal genital tissues before intercourse, for either partner, and reapply whenever you need more. The easy-open cap makes it quick to use in the moment.
How many uses do we get from 40g?
Fairhaven puts it at 10 to 12 applications per 40g tube, depending on how much you use. Store it at room temperature, between 2 and 30°C.
What makes BabyDance different from an ordinary lubricant?
BabyDance is pH-matched to fertile cervical mucus and isotonic, and Fairhaven labels it compatible with sperm, eggs and embryos. Most everyday lubricants aren't formulated with sperm in mind, which is why couples trying to conceive choose one like this.
Does it contain parabens or fragrance?
No parabens, and no fragrance appears in the ingredients: purified water, cellulose and carbomer thickeners, phosphate buffers, salt, raspberry-derived xylose, phenethyl alcohol, caprylyl glycol and clary sage extract.
Can I use it internally without an applicator?
Yes — the tube is labelled for external and internal use. If you'd rather place a measured amount near the cervix, the BabyDance pack with 10 single-use applicators comes with the same 40g tube.
Is it OK with condoms or fertility treatment?
It's compatible with latex and polyurethane condoms, but it isn't a contraceptive. If you're having fertility treatment, ask your clinic before using it, as the label advises.
When should we stop or get advice?
Stop if irritation occurs and see a healthcare provider if it persists. The label also suggests getting advice if you haven't conceived within 6 months of using BabyDance.
