Anything I should know?
This product contains vitamin K. Consult your physician if using blood-thinning medications such as Warfarin. Store in a cool dry place.
My D3 is already sorted - what does adding K2 on its own get me?
Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal blood clotting - it is the natural partner to the D3 you already take, which is why standalone K2 exists for people who do not want to double up on D.
Is 100mcg of MK-7 a sensible dose?
100mcg is the standard daily amount modern MK-7 products centre on - one veggie cap a day, taken with a meal containing some fat since K2 is fat-soluble.
Anything I should check before taking vitamin K?
Yes - if you take blood-thinning medication, talk to your GP or pharmacist before adding any vitamin K product, because K is directly involved in normal blood clotting. That is the one big flag with K2.
Doctor's Best 100mcg or Solaray's 150mcg triple strength?
Both are MK-7 in a daily capsule. This one is the classic 100mcg dose; Solaray runs at 150mcg for people who want the higher strength. There is no need to chase the bigger number unless you specifically want it - consistency matters more.
