Your questions, answered
What's in each serving?
Each tablespoon (15ml) contains 100mg of chlorophyll as sodium copper chlorophyllins from alfalfa leaves, in an isotonic water and kosher vegetable glycerin base. A serving also contains about 121mg of sodium.
How do I take it?
Stir one tablespoon into a glass of water or juice once a day. Shake the bottle before pouring and keep it in the fridge once opened.
How long does the 16 fl oz bottle last?
The 474ml bottle holds about 31 tablespoon servings, so it lasts roughly a month at one serving a day.
What does liquid chlorophyll do?
Chlorophyll has no authorised health claims in the UK, so we don't claim detox, energy or fresh-breath benefits. World Organic Liquid Chlorophyll is simply a concentrated green plant pigment that many people enjoy adding to their water every day.
Will it stain?
Yes — the label warns that the natural green pigment can stain clothing, so pour it over the sink and rinse spills straight away. It can also leave a temporary green tint on your tongue.
Is it vegan and preservative-free?
The ingredients are water, organically grown alfalfa and kosher vegetable glycerin, with nothing animal-derived listed. It contains no preservatives, which is why the bottle needs refrigerating after opening.
100mg unflavoured or the 50mg Mint?
This bottle is the unflavoured 'Nature's Own Flavor' version with 100mg per tablespoon. World Organics Liquid Chlorophyll (50mg) Mint, which we also stock, has half the chlorophyll per serving and a spearmint flavour, in the same 16 fl oz bottle.
