How to use
Shake well. Take 0.5–1.5 mL daily using the metered dropper. Due to the concentrated nature, dilute in juice or food to mask the mineral flavor. Spread servings throughout the day and take on a full stomach. Do not refrigerate.

How much zinc is in a serving?
The full label serving of 1.5ml (one and a half droppers) gives 40mg of zinc as zinc sulphate and 50mg of black elderberry 4:1 extract. That's about 39 full servings per 59ml bottle.
Can I take less than 1.5ml?
Yes — the label range is 0.5–1.5ml a day, and 0.5ml gives roughly 13mg of zinc, much closer to the 10mg UK reference intake. Stay at the low end if you already get zinc from a multivitamin.
What do the zinc and elderberry do?
Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Elderberry has no authorised health claims in the UK, so it's here as a traditional ingredient rather than a promise.
How do I hide the mineral taste?
Shake well, then mix your dose into juice or food, because the concentrated zinc tastes strongly metallic on its own. Take it on a full stomach, spread larger amounts through the day, and don't refrigerate the bottle.
Is Ionic Zinc + Elderberry vegan and allergen-free?
Yes — the other ingredients are just purified water, citric acid and potassium sorbate, and Trace lists it as gluten-free with no known allergens. It's free from wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, shellfish and peanuts.
