Your questions, answered
What is Orange Passion for?
It's an orange and passionfruit flavoured monk fruit sweetener (the bottle says Orange Passionfruit) for turning still or sparkling water, iced tea or plain yoghurt into something fruity without sugar.
How much is one serving?
One squeeze, about 0.625 ml, and the 50 ml bottle holds 80. It's a squeezable bottle, not a dropper: start with one squeeze per glass and add more to taste.
How long does it keep once opened?
SweetLeaf says to use it within 30 days of opening for best quality. Finishing 80 squeezes in that time works out at two or three a day, so an Orange Passion bottle suits a daily water habit.
What's in it?
Organic glycerin, purified water, organic natural flavours and organic monk fruit extract. It's USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, with no erythritol or stevia.
Does it contain calories or carbs?
No. Each squeeze has 0 calories, 0 g carbohydrate and 0 g sugar on the nutrition panel, which is why it's popular on keto and low-sugar diets.
Can I use it in hot drinks or baking?
It stirs into hot tea, but fruit flavours shine most in cold drinks. In baking it sweetens without replacing sugar's bulk, so it's better for yoghurt, overnight oats or icing than for cakes.
Which other SweetLeaf liquid monk fruit flavours do you stock?
Clear (unflavoured), Almond Amaretto, Caramel Macchiato, French Vanilla, English Toffee, Old Fashioned Lemonade and Strawberry Guava, all in the same 80-serving bottle. The dessert flavours suit coffee better than Orange Passion does.
