How much caffeine is in a scoop of Angel Dust?
200mg per 4.5g scoop, about the same as two strong mugs of coffee. Each scoop also has 1,600mg beta-alanine, 600mg betaine, 400mg L-tyrosine, 250mg choline bitartrate and 200mg GABA, and the 270g tub holds 60 scoops.
How should a first-timer start with Angel Dust?
Begin with half a scoop (about 2.25g, so roughly 100mg caffeine) in cold water before training and see how you react before trying a full scoop. Keep it away from late-evening sessions, because 200mg of caffeine can easily keep you awake.
What is the most I can take in a day?
The panel on our Angel Dust listing gives amounts for one 4.5g scoop and for 9g, and 9g already delivers 400mg of caffeine, the most EFSA considers safe from all sources in a day for healthy adults. That leaves no room for coffee or energy drinks, so most lifters stay at one scoop per training day.
Why does my face tingle after drinking it?
That is the beta-alanine: 1,600mg per scoop commonly causes a pins-and-needles feeling on the face, neck and hands that fades within about an hour. Taking half a scoop makes it milder.
Does Angel Dust contain any vitamins?
Yes. One scoop gives 5mg niacin (31% NRV) and 1.4mg vitamin B6 (100% NRV), and both contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. The beta-alanine, betaine, tyrosine and GABA have no authorised health claims, so we list their amounts rather than promise pumps or focus.
Who should not use Angel Dust?
