Four drops are about as sweet as a teaspoon of sugar, with zero calories and zero sugars. The 59ml bottle holds roughly 295 four-drop servings.
How many drops should I use?
Shake the bottle, then start with 4 drops in a drink or recipe; the label range is 4–8 drops. Stevia tastes bitter when overdone, so add one drop at a time.
What's in it?
Water, 20% organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin and organic stevia extract, according to the US label. There's no flavouring, hence 'Clear': it adds sweetness and nothing else.
Does it contain alcohol?
Yes — 20% organic alcohol is the base of the extract, although a few drops in a mug add only a trace. If you avoid alcohol completely, NuNaturals Alcohol Free NuStevia Vanilla, which we also stock, is made without it.
Is it keto, vegan and gluten-free?
Yes — Clear Extract NuStevia is listed as keto, vegan and gluten-free, with no carbohydrate or sugar per serving.
Can I bake with it?
For sweetness, yes, but liquid stevia adds none of the bulk, browning or texture that sugar does. It works best in drinks, dressings, porridge and no-bake desserts; cakes need something else to replace the sugar's volume.
