Is 2.5% benzoyl peroxide strong enough to treat acne?

How do I use the AM Treatment?

Cleanse first, then smooth a thin layer of Stubborn Acne AM over the whole affected area, starting with one application a day and increasing to two or three only if your skin needs it. New users should try it on a small area for the first three days before using it more widely.

Do I need sunscreen with it?

Yes. The label says to avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen, so as a morning product finish with SPF once it has dried.

Will it bleach my towels or pillowcase?

It can. Benzoyl peroxide may bleach hair and dyed fabric, so let it dry fully, keep it off your hairline and switch to white towels while you use it.

Who shouldn't use Neutrogena Stubborn Acne AM?
