What's in a serving of NaturalRest Plus+?
Two NaturalRest Plus+ tablets provide 150mg GABA, 25mg L-theanine, 45mg magnesium (from magnesium citrate and ConcenTrace), 275mg ConcenTrace trace minerals and a 238mg herb and enzyme blend. There is no melatonin in the formula.
Which herbs are in the blend?
The 238mg blend lists passionflower, valerian, black cohosh, chamomile, kelp, skullcap, wood betony, hops, cayenne and alfalfa, plus bromelain and the enzymes amylase, cellulase, lipase and protease. The label doesn't give amounts for the individual herbs.
When should I take it, and how long does a bottle last?
Two tablets about an hour before bed, so the 60-tablet bottle is a 30-night supply. Keep the lid tight and the bottle somewhere cool and dry: the label warns the tablets can break down early if they get damp.
Will NaturalRest Plus+ help me sleep?
We can't promise that — GABA, L-theanine and the herbs have no authorised health claims in the UK, so we describe the formula rather than its results. The 45mg of magnesium is about 12% of the reference intake, too little for a magnesium claim either.
Can I take it if I'm pregnant or on medication?
Ask your GP or pharmacist first. The label we've seen gives no pregnancy guidance, and the blend includes valerian, black cohosh, hops and kelp, which are worth checking against any medication or condition.
Is NaturalRest Plus+ vegan and gluten-free?
Yes — the current Trace label carries Certified Vegan and Gluten Free badges and lists no known allergens. The tablets are made with stearic acid, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, HPMC and silicon dioxide.
NaturalRest Plus+ or Mega-Mag?
They do different jobs. NaturalRest Plus+ is a herbal bedtime tablet with only 45mg magnesium, while Trace Minerals Mega-Mag, which we also stock, is a liquid giving 400mg magnesium per 4ml serving, so it's the one to pick if magnesium is what you're after.
