How many tablets do I take, and how long does the bottle last?
Two to four tablets a day with food. At the full four-tablet serving the 240 tablets of Complete Foods Multi last 60 days; at two a day, 120 days, with every amount below halved.
What does a full serving contain?
Four tablets give 200mg vitamin C, 5mcg vitamin D3, 80mg vitamin E, 150mcg vitamin B12, 833mcg DFE folate, 220mg magnesium, 7mg zinc, 165mcg selenium and 4.5mg iron, among other vitamins and minerals. They also include 1,500mg of ConcenTrace trace minerals.
What makes it a food-based multi?
Alongside the vitamins, each serving of Complete Foods Multi includes an 818mg vegetable, greens and sea-vegetable blend (with spirulina, kelp, kale and broccoli), a 240mg fruit and berry blend, a 136mg turmeric, ginger, oregano and rosemary blend and a 28mg mushroom blend.
What do the vitamins and minerals contribute?
Vitamins C and D, zinc and selenium contribute to the normal function of the immune system, and vitamins B12, B6 and C, folate and magnesium contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Is it safe to keep around children?
Keep it well out of reach: it contains iron, and the label warns that accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. It's an adult multivitamin.
Is it vegetarian and gluten-free?
Yes — it's labelled gluten-free and certified vegetarian, with no known allergens; the label doesn't claim vegan. Store it sealed in a cool, dry place so the tablets don't break down early.
