Trec Nutrition BETA-ALANINE 700 - WHY MUSCLE FAILURE IS NO MORE!
BETA ALANINE ELIMINATES THE MAIN CAUSE OF FATIGUE IN HIGH-INTENSITY EFFORTS

It is natural that in order to achieve better and better training results, we need to subject our muscles to increasingly intense training challenges. It is extreme efforts and maximum loads that provide a developmental stimulus for muscles. Often, however, it is the case that we don't reach these critical moments of training because we simply no longer have the strength or our muscles refuse to obey us. This is the hated muscle collapse, which is the result of fatigue and depletion of energy reserves. The main cause of fatigue in maximum intensity efforts is muscle acidification, resulting from the accumulation of hydrogen ions (H).

Muscle cells have their own protection system against acidification, which is carnosine. Carnosine is a dipeptide made of two amino acids: beta-alanine and histidine. Its main role is to counteract the accumulation of H ions. Thanks to carnosine, muscles can work longer and harder as acidifying H ions are eliminated. Unfortunately, the amounts of carnosine in the muscles are limited and often do not allow full implementation of training goals. It would seem that carnosine supplementation will increase the levels of this peptide in the muscles, but unfortunately this is not the case. Fortunately, we can bring about maximum accumulation of caseinose in the muscles in another way - through supplementation with the amino acid beta-alanine. Beta alanine will effectively postpone the moment of muscular collapse, allowing the body to meet energetically even the greatest training challenges.

SUPPLEMENTATION WITH CARNOSINE DOES NOT MAKE SENSE, BUT ADMINISTRATION OF BETA-ALANINE INCREASES MUSCLE CARNOSINE LEVELS SPECTACULARLY!
Precisely, why can't carnosine be administered to improve the accumulation of this dipeptide in muscles? Well, carnosine is subject to breakdown in the digestive system, making it unable to reach the muscles. The only effective way to increase the concentration of carnosine, allowing you to train longer and more intensively, is to supplementabeta alanine, which is part of its composition. Beta alanine is a different amino acid from other amino acids and we should not confuse it with L-alanine. Beta-alanine differs from its sister L-alanine in its spatial structure, which makes it perform quite a different function from it. There is no way for L-alanine to be converted into the beta alanine configuration.

Beta alanine supplementation is necessary to achieve higher levels of carnosine, as it is not an amino acid that can be produced by the body. Histidine, which together with beta alanine forms the carnosine molecule, occurs naturally in food and can be synthesized by the body. Therefore, the only factor that limits the amount of carnosine in the muscles is beta-alanine!

SKIN TINGLING AFTER BETA-ALANINE IS NORMAL!
Do you feel that you are implementing your workouts on a half-whistle? It's been a long time since you increased your training load? Halfway through your workouts your muscles are deprived of energy, hence you give up on essential series? Maybe what they need is BETA-ALANINE 700. Feel the gentle tingling of your skin, which will confirm that your muscles have high levels of carnosine, thanks to which they will be ready for an extra hard training challenge! Remember, muscles will be stimulated to grow only if they are served with increasingly intense training stimuli. Beta alanine will help meet them!

BETA ALANINE PREVENTS MUSCLE ACIDIFICATION
Beta alanine increases muscle carnosine levels, which is responsible for reducing acidification.
Important: The main cause of fatigue in high-intensity anaerobic exercise is muscle acidification. Beta alanine supplementation reduces it, contributing to increased power and strength.

The discovery of beta-alanine's amazing potential came about when the muscle composition of athletes in different sports was compared. Muscle samples of athletes adapted to long-term efforts (e.g., marathon runners) and those adapted to short-term maximal power exercise tests (e.g., sprinters, weightlifters) were analyzed. The most important difference was in the level of a compound called CARNOSINE. The second group, adapted more to submaximal efforts, showed much higher levels of caseinosine.

Carnosine is a substance naturally produced by the human body, which is made up of two amino acids: beta alanine and L-alanine. The main task of carnosine in the body is to reduce muscle acidification, which is the main cause of muscle collapse in maximum intensity efforts. In addition to this, carnosine also plays a key role in removing harmful metal ions, which in excess have a degrading effect on the body, especially the nervous system. Carnosine is also involved in the elimination of free radicals. When its amazing capabilities were uncovered it was thought that it would become a breakthrough in supplementation. However, this was not quite the case. Beta alanine turned out to be a hit in terms of improving the body's performance in short-term, high-intensity efforts!

BETA ALANINE IMPROVES ENDURANCE
High-intensity efforts can be performed for a limited period of time, among other reasons, because during them energy reserves are depleted at an express rate. However, the main reason for the inability to continue the effort is the increase in hydrogen ions (H) in the muscle environment. This is the moment when, for example, during the crucial series of chest presses, after performing 4 of the 6 scheduled repetitions, we are no longer able to perform them. A huge accumulation of H ions occurs during anaerobic efforts. The body can, up to a certain point, cope with this limitation by means of carnosine. However, its systemic amounts are limited. Hence, in order to increase power and strength, supplementation with carnosine, a peptide composed of beta alanine and histidine, was initially recommended. However, it did not have the desired effect, as this compound is subject to breakdown in the digestive system! Therefore, the best and, in fact, the only way to raise the amount, reducing muscle acidification, of carnosone is to provide a unique amino acid that builds its structure: beta-alanine.

BETA ALANINE - HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER AMINO ACIDS?
Beta alanine differs from other standard amino acids that build the structures of the human body, because it occurs in a beta configuration. All proteagenic amino acids occur in the L-configuration, which determines the spatial arrangement of the amino acid molecule. Beta alanine and L-alanine are theoretically the same amino acid, but sort of "arranged differently." There is no way to convert L-alanine into a beta configuration.
Beta-alanine is not found in the composition of complex amino acid preparations. Yes, some dietary products have a high concentration of beta-alanine, such as poultry meat. However, we need to be aware that thermal processing causes considerable loss of this amino acid. Hence, if we want to improve performance in anaerobic efforts, it is best to opt for beta-alanine supplementation.

IN WHAT SPORTS DOES BETA ALANINE IMPROVE RESULTS
Important: Beta alanine supplementation will be important in high-intensity sports like weightlifting, bodybuilding, combat sports, crossfit. In order to achieve high levels of deacidifying carnosine, the availability of beta-alanine is required. Histidine, which builds the carnosine molecule together with beta-alanine, is an endogenous amino acid hence the body has unlimited access to it.
Beta alanine supplementation will improve performance in sports where strength, speed, power are of primary importance. These will be, for example: weight sports, bodybuilding, combat sports, crossfit. If more than once during training you thought you still had a reserve and suddenly, for some unknown reason, you sagged and had to stop training, it may mean that you fell victim to muscular acidification. In efforts of tremendous power, the body simply can't get rid of acidifying H-ions on an ongoing basis, as it does during aerobic efforts, because there are simply too many of them. At the critical moment, muscular collapse occurs when the muscles are unable to continue to do any work. This is the moment when the buffering (deacidification) capacity of the muscles, for which carnosine, and especially its beta-component, is responsible, is exhausted.
