How many drops should I use?
A serving is 5 drops (about 0.2ml), and the 60ml bottle holds 288 of them. Start with 5 drops in a mug of coffee, stir and taste before adding more.
What's in Vanilla Creme Sweet Drops?
Purified water, organic stevia leaf extract and vanilla flavour, with organic glycerin or natural flavours depending on the batch. Each serving has zero calories, carbohydrates and sugars.
Why does stevia sometimes taste bitter?
The bitter, liquorice-like note shows up when you add too much, and Sweet Drops are very concentrated. Use a drop or two less; the creamy vanilla also softens any aftertaste in milky drinks.
Does it fit a keto or diabetic diet?
Yes for keto — it adds no sugar, carbohydrate or calories. Drinks sweetened with stevia instead of sugar cause a smaller rise in blood glucose than sugar-sweetened ones, but if you have diabetes your care team should guide your overall diet.
Can I bake with it?
Yes — stevia extract copes with oven heat, but it gives none of sugar's bulk or browning. Vanilla Creme drops work best where sugar is only there for sweetness, like custards, porridge, overnight oats or cheesecake fillings.
